Program Information

Mode of Study:
Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering is a research postgraduate academic programme offered for full time and part time basis

All year around

Duration:
Minimum 2 years (full time) and 3 years (part time)

Entry Requirement:

1. Master’s Degree in Engineering, Science or Technology from UTHM or recognized institutions or other equivalent to Master’s Degree acceptable by the university’s Senate
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or Technology with Honours from UTHM or recognized institutions by the university’s Senate with a minimum of CGPA 3.67 (First class honours) (For fast rack applicant only)
3. International student is required to meet a minimum score of TOEFL 500, IELTS 5 or MUET Band 3.5

Fees*:

Local students:    (i)     MYR 1,910.00 per semester (Full time)

                                 (ii)    MYR 1,670 per semester (Part time)

International students: MYR 3,868 per semester (Full time)
