Mode of Study:
Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering is a research postgraduate academic programme offered for full time and part time basis

Duration:
Minimum 2 years (full time) and 3 years (part time)

Entry Requirement:

1. Master’s Degree in Engineering, Science or Technology accepted by UTHM senate  or recognized institutions or other qualifications equivalent to Master’s Degree recognised by the Goverment of Malaysia.
2. Candidate without a related qualification or working experience in the relevant fields must undergo appropriate pre-requisite courses determined by UTHM. (Rigorous Assessment) 
3. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or Technology with Honours accepted by UTHM Senate with a minimum CGPA 0f 3.67 (or equivalent). (For Fast Track Applicant Only)
4. Applicants with the age of 35 and above (on the year of appplication) WITH APEL A-T8 qualification can be accepted.

English Requirement:

International students should fullfill the minimum english proficiency level of either MUET = B3.5, IELTS = 5.0, TOEFL iBT = 40, TOEFL Essentials (Online) = 7.5, PTE Academic/ PTE Academic (Online) = 47, Linguaskill Online = 154 or ELS = 107 for International Students. (For Non-English Speaking Country)
